New Russian Offensive Fails Miserably. TROOPS SCATTERED & DESTROYED.
In the Liman direction, Russian forces launched a fresh wave of assaults on Terny, aiming to secure the settlement and consolidate control over the Zherebets River's east bank. Leveraging high ground and forest cover, the Russians sought tactical advantages to pressure Ukrainian defenses and advance toward Liman. However, their operation was undermined by overstretched logistics and exposed positions, leading to a devastating counterattack by Ukrainian forces.
Despite their preparation, including probing assaults and armored support, Russian units faced significant logistical challenges with supply lines extending over 16 kilometers from Kreminna. Ukrainian reconnaissance drones detected these vulnerabilities early, enabling precise artillery strikes and drone attacks that neutralized advancing units. In one engagement, Ukrainian forces immobilized Russian BMPs and systematically eliminated stranded troops, leveraging real-time intelligence and advanced weaponry.
The renewed Russian offensive ended in failure, with Terny remaining firmly under Ukrainian control. This key bridgehead on the Zherebets River continues to bolster Ukraine's defense in the Liman sector, highlighting the resilience and strategic coordination of its forces.
